"I feel at 51 years I am stronger, leaner, healthier, and more mindful of my movement than in any of the 30 years I have been training."

Movement for Life offers something utterly different from the mainstream type of exercises seen in commercial gyms. Personal trainers are all mindlessly following each other and teaching their clients how to use machines or perform the occasional floor exercises, which are invariably quite appallingly demonstrated and thus executed. Where Personal Trainers have inflexible text book knowledge, the MFL teachers have applied superior intelligence and thought in terms of their exercise selection and demonstration.

MFL challenges one to move in a manner which challenges your body and mind. The difficulty of the exercises, although simplistic in appearance, prove to be highly challenging and very demanding of many muscles simultaneously. The focus is on gaining strength in areas we were originally designed to be strong in! The huge attraction to MFL for me is the extreme strength, beauty and grace in which these movements should be performed.

Although I have a CHEK background and have loved learning the principals and fundamentals associated with this life changing practice, MFL has taken my training to an entirely new level. I feel at 51 years I am stronger, leaner, healthier, and more mindful of my movement than in any of the 30 years I have been training. And I feel so INSPIRED each time I attend a class! I learn something new, I struggle, I sweat but I marvel at the way a body can move when properly taught. I could never return to the "old way" of exercising and feel so privileged to be a member of this unique group.
